Induction and Orientation Sessions

A special online meet-and-greet session has been arranged for all BASMIB September cohort students. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to connect with the course team, ask questions, and start building relationships with your fellow students and staff. To make sure no one missed out, we have also planned induction workshops during our timetabled classes. These sessions are designed to help you get ready for the existing journey ahead:

  • Programme orientation to help you understand your course requirements.

    To make the most of your session, we highly recommend testing your setup in advance—this helps avoid any last-minute technical hiccups. We’ve set up a test room where you can check your sound and video before the session begins.

    What You’ll Need:

    • A laptop or desktop with Chrome (preferred) or Firefox installed
    • A stable internet connection
    • Headphones or speakers to hear clearly, and a microphone so you can be heard
    • A webcam

Preparation/Equipment/Reading Lists

If your course requires students to have specialist equipment, clothing / uniform, reading lists, if there are any pre-entry/ summer tasks, etc, please include a list of what is needed, including any in-depth information:

To succeed in your studies, it’s essential that you have access to a reliable laptop that you can use throughout your course. Being well-prepared makes a big difference—so we also recommend checking the reading list for each of your modules in advance. This will give you a head start and help you feel more confident and ready for your classes.
